Cap
Cana, Dominican Republic-The 54-foot Carolina custom
charter vessel Tijereta successfully completed
the crossing from her winter home in Aruba to Cap Cana
in the Dominican Republic. Capt. Bubba Carter reported
that while the crossing was a bit sloppy due to the
prevailing weather conditions the boat superbly handled
the seas. The Tijereta is immediately available
for charter or tournaments.
Cap Cana is arguably the hottest
new up and coming destination in the Caribbean Sea, with
outstanding fishing for both blue and white marlin
during the spring and summer seasons as well as
opportunities for gamefish like mahi-mahi, wahoo and
tuna along the way. The run to the fishing grounds is
relatively short, meaning more time spent with lines in
the water. Combine fantastic sportfishing with luxurious
destinations ashore, plus the opportunity for
PGA-caliber golf, world-class restaurants and spas and
more, and it's no wonder why Cap Cana is a hit with
anglers all across the globe.
The Tijereta is a 54-foot
Taylor, a custom-built sportfishing vessel captained by
fishing legend Bubba Carter. She features the finest in
top-of-the-line tackle for her guests, who are welcome
to participate in the fishing action as much or as
little as they choose. The charter
rate includes crew, fuel, bait, ice, tackle, a full
lunch and beverages including sodas, water and beer.
