I agree with the philosophy of being first and formost an “Angler’s Tournament”* (as was intended by the founders); and I pledge to honor the tournament rules and modified release format of the ABMT and the BTS.

The Board of Captains (BOC) meet once each year during the tournament. If accepted, your name will be posted on the list of members by December 31st. of the same year. The primary duty of the BOC is to certify the character of the observer applicants. Please do not sign for an observer that you don't know. At the same time, please inform us of any observer applicants who are not trustworthy (this information is held confidential). Other duties require your vote on tournament rule changes and if on island during the ABMT (or another affiliated event), you may be asked to serve on the weather committee.
